But it is to be observed that while vices together with their phantasies are thus represented by the veil, and it so appears to those who are enveloped therein, still it is interior things which produce such veils. How the interiors are changed and the veil formed in conformity therewith is observed by angels who are present. This happens with variety according to the changes of the interiors, thus not the same in one case as in another. This the observing angels see.
