This is clear from the meaning of 'a cubit' or one, as somewhat, since it is a half of the previous number, and when a double means all, the half of it means somewhat, and therefore somewhat so far as the joining together is concerned; and from the meaning of 'breadth' as truth, dealt with in 9487, 9488.
