10529. 'And I will drive out the Canaanite, the Amorite, and the Hittite, and the Perizzite, the Hivite, and the Jebusite' means the expulsion from there of all evils and falsities. This is clear from the representation of the nations in the land of Canaan as evils and falsities within the Church and worship, dealt with in 9320, and in the places referred to in 9327.
