The reason why fine linen was not interwoven, as in the ephod, is that the tunic, which was the inmost garment, was of fine linen; and this for the reason that "fine linen" signifies truth from a celestial origin (n. 5319, 9469), which is spiritual good itself proceeding from celestial good.
