21 And Enoch lived for sixty-five years, and was the father of Methuselah. 22 And Enoch walked with God for three hundred years after he became the father of Methuselah, and he had sons and daughters. 23 And all the days of Enoch were three hundred and sixty-five years. 24 And Enoch walked with God; and he was no more, for God took him.

25 And Methuselah lived for one hundred and eighty-seven years, and was the father of Lamech. 26 And Methuselah lived for seven hundred and eighty-two years after he became the father of Lamech, and he had sons and daughters. 27 And all the days of Methuselah were nine hundred and sixty-nine years; and he died.

28 And Lamech lived for one hundred and eighty-two years, and was the father of a son; 29 and he named him Noah, and said, This one shall comfort us for our work and for the toil of our hands from the ground which Yehowah has cursed. 30 And Lamech lived for five hundred and ninety-five years after he became the father of Noah, and he had sons and daughters. 31 And all the days of Lamech were seven hundred and seventy-seven years; and he died.
