This past night I also observed that there were spirits who presented dreams, and that their life was dreams, while a person is sleeping. When several persons are dreamt of, each spirit plays the role of one person - a fact that I openly discovered upon awakening, for then I spoke quite a while with those who were acting the part of this or that person. The evil spirits' fantasies are foreboding and cruel, as they delight in treating people cruelly. So that I would realize this, their savageness continued for a long time after I awoke, and they could not desist from it.
