4762. `Et ecce nullus Joseph in fovea': quod significet quod nulla fides amplius, constat a repraesentatione `Josephi' quod sit Divinum Verum, quod cum appareret inter falsa {1} quae per `foveam' n. 4728 significantur, tunc est nulla fides amplius. @4 A has quod cum non appareret amplius inter falsa eorum. The two forms seem opposites, but while A agrees better with n. 4728, 4757 and 4758 it should be noted that I is probably due to the doctrine that the Lord's Advent (i.e., the coming of Divine with) takes place when there is `no longer any faith in the church'. While Joseph did not appear to Reuben, he was present with the Midianites, so that the apparent contradiction can be reconciled by neglecting the idea of `place'. See also n. 4765.$
