1366. CONCERNING THE HOLY SPIRIT Every man who is sensibly moved by some spirit, especially if the spirit speaks to him, supposes that it is the Holy Spirit; all enthusiastics so suppose. Nevertheless those whom they then call the Holy Spirit and even adore and worship are unclean spirits who love this, and so suppose that they are the Holy Spirit, as you may see elsewhere [nos. 4, 148 1/2, 423].
