[82.] Surrogate Muhammads are continually being substituted, one in place of another, and the reason is that each person after death is brought into the religious persuasion that he had in the world, death being a continuation of life; but afterward he is gradually led away from it, either to good spirits or to evil ones, depending on his life, in accordance with which he also accepts either truths or falsities.
