[355.] I then told them that their knowing no otherwise when delivering their discourse is owing to the flowing in of heaven, but that its being not so when they are composing their sermons is owing to the flowing in of their native self, because they are then thinking about themselves, their learning, and their reputation and approbation in consequence of it.
