250. [253.] They possess for Abraham a Divine concept; a somewhat Divine one but less so for Jacob, and also for the rest of their patriarchs. Set over them by the Lord is always some converted Jew who possesses a hidden Judaism within or at heart, but Christianity outwardly or in profession; and he is instructed by certain angels sent by the Lord, in order that he may rule them according to their character and disposition.
