That everyone can see that it is charity not to steal from another by artifices or openly, that it is charity not to wish at all to commit adultery with another's wife, that it is charity not to injure the neighbor out of hatred and vengeance, that it is charity not to slander another, and so on. One who abhors these things as sins has charity, because he loves his neighbor.
