9924. 'And it shall be on Aaron' means that which is representative of the Lord. This is clear from the representation of 'Aaron' as that which is representative of the Lord in respect of the good of love, dealt with in 9806, 9809, at this point in respect of things that have to do with preaching the gospel and with worship, since such things are meant by the bells in among the pomegranates and by the sound they made, to be heard when Aaron went into the holy place.
