6356. 'For in their anger they killed a man' means that they felt utterly averse, and having that feeling they annihilated faith. This is clear from the meaning of 'anger' as a departure from charity and an aversion, dealt with in 357, 5034, 5798; from the meaning of 'killing' as annihilating; and from the meaning of 'a man' as the truth of faith, dealt with in 3134, 3309, 3459, 4823.
