378. Verse 11 And now you are cursed from the ground, which has opened its mouth to receive your brother's blood^a from your hand. 'You are cursed from the ground' means that he became alienated on account of schism. 'Which has opened its mouth' means whose teaching was such. 'To receive your brother's blood^a from your hand' means that it did violence to charity, which it annihilated.
