112. It should be recognized however that no wisdom can possibly exist unless it derives from love, and so from the Lord. Nor can any intelligence do so unless it derives from faith, and so again from the Lord. And no good can possibly exist unless it derives from love, and so from the Lord. Nor can any truth do so unless it derives from faith, and so from the Lord. Things which do not derive from love and faith, and so from the Lord, are given the same names, but they are not genuine.
