47. That in Christ God is Man, and Man God, is confirmed three times in the Formula Concordia?; and also in the Athanasian Creed, where is said, the "taking of the Manhood into God"; from the Word (Rom. xiv 11; Coloss. ii 9; 1 John v 20, 21), as well as, by the Lord Himself, that the Father and He are one; that the Father is in Him, and He in the Father; that all things of the Father are His; that He has Life in Himself; that He is God of heaven and earth.
