That this signifies the good of truth in like manner, is evident from the signification of the "cattle of the beast," or of the "cattle of the flock and of the herd," as being the interior and exterior good of truth (of which above, n. 6126). That this in like manner was no longer visible on account of the desolation, is plain from what was said just above concerning the silver (n. 6133).
