62. The infernal marriage

This is when one wishes to dominate, and the other is unwilling to be subservient; this produces within internecine hatred. This was represented by things too frightful to describe. They long for nothing but the other's death and torment. They are therefore separated and live separately in hell, and in adultery, as said above (about Charles XII).* * This note appears to have been added subsequently.
