295. The celestial sense of this commandment is that the Lord Jehovah is infinite, measureless and eternal; He is omnipotent, omniscient and omnipresent. He is the first and the last, the beginning and the end, who was and who is and who shall be. He is love itself and wisdom itself, or good itself and truth itself, and consequently life itself, Thus He is the sole source of everything.
